AIS Mutual Funds system aims at the
complete computerization of Mutual Funds Management Companies
(MFMCs). Not only does it cover the company's Mutual Funds business but
its General Ledger Accounting needs as well. The system is based on Client/Server
architecture, using Oracle®, the most common database worldwide, developed
within Borland's® development environment, Delphi®.
AIS Mutual Funds system comprises the

- Capacity to maintain, practically, an indefinite number of Mutual
Funds.
- Customer-centric management of all beneficiaries included in the Registry.
Every customer, either beneficiary or co-beneficiary, holds the same
code in every Registry of the Mutual Funds being managed by the company.
- On line update of the "Asset Management Department", any
time of the day, regarding subscriptions /redemptions per Mutual Fund
(either grouped by branch or summarized).
- Full parameterization of the system.
- Dual control of each operation (available either in the MFMC or in
the branches) updating the master files.
- Access definition for every user or group of users at the operation
level.
- Capability to interface with other systems, with regard to bidirectional
information transfer. (e.g. Core Banking System, daily prices uploading
via Excel®, etc.).
- Real time - on line transactions for accessing information any time
of the day from any workstation.
- Modern, friendly environment for data entry, providing suitable combinations
for information research.
- Full maintenance of historical data.
- System's authorized evaluations maintenance and retrieval.
- Full automation, creating respective automated entries where necessary,
in all group operations such as:
- Title certification issues
- Profit certification issues
- Customer statement issue
- Safe-keeping fee calculation
- Management fee calculation etc.
